Manipulation score
CleanCompleted Jul 18, 2026 · 50 reviews flagged
How this score works
The score estimates how strongly this place's review record matches known manipulation patterns, from 0 (no signs) to 100. Verdicts: Clean below 40, Suspicious from 40, Likely Manipulated from 70; Review Drive when the flags are mostly staff asking customers for named reviews. It rises with the share of reviews flagged and how suspicious each one is.
- Burst
- — an abnormal spike of five-star reviews in a single day compared to the place's usual pace.
- Low activity account
- — the reviewer has almost no other reviews, photos, or Local Guide history; throwaway accounts look like this.
- Duplicate text
- — the wording is nearly identical to another review of the same place.
Verdicts are statistical estimates based on public review patterns, not accusations. Full methodology, signal definitions and known limits →

L’Industrie is an absolute bucket list spot and more than worth the hype. We arrived just as it opened and it was already starting to get busy right away. By far, these were the best slices we had during our time in NYC. We tried three diff...

We waited with a broken timer for over 20 minutes when we could’ve been done in less then 10 minutes. Especially when you’re on a lunch break
Efficient service despite long lines
Reviewers note that although lines can stretch outside, the staff handles orders quickly and keeps the queue moving at a fast pace.

This place definitely lives up to its reputation! The thin crust pizza is just absolutely wonderful. There is a bit of a line to get in, because of the high demand, but things move rather quickly, and it is well worth the wait.

The bacon and fig jam pizza was excellent, worth the line. The square is solid and the regular was good but I think a little dry. Place was packed. Standing room only to eat. They have a great system and the line moves quick.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in New York! We tried a slice each of the Fig Jam & Bacon (a touch on the sweeter side, but really good), the New Yorker, and the Burrata — the Burrata was by far the best, followed by the Fig Jam & Bacon. It...

Overall the pizza is nice and probably one of the best spots to try New York style pizza. To me the flavours were not as prominent and the price/quality ratio was a bit low. This place often has a large queue and the staff is not able to co...

We traveled from far and I was expecting a place to sit and enjoy a slice and nope all standing. Line around the corner which is cool but there is no where to sit. I wanted the mushroom pizza. They didn’t have it. While the pizza was delici...

It's very crowded, there's no seating, so you have to eat quickly. The pizza is excellent, but the atmosphere isn't as perfect as you'd hope.

Don't come here if you have a disability, there's no chairs at all! Great Pizza and Tiramisu. Hopefully the Greenwich Village spot has chairs!
5★ · 2025-11-15
It's only stand-up at the bar kind of dining (no seats). Pizza is really good.
High prices
Some reviewers feel that the menu items and whole pies are too expensive for what you get.

A decent slice, about equivalent to any other NY slice. Not at all worth the wait, price, or hype. Save yourself time and money and go to literally any other pizza shop. $31 + $3 / topping per pie is a premium charge for an unremarkable pr...

This is more of a takeout place but they do have standing tables. I had a slice of there pepperoni and sausage and pesto which were both tasty. Although I have not had it I will recommend the fig jam and bacon. As a famous NY chef once said you should always try the weird item on a menu, because the...
